About the Speaker:

Steven M Wong is the founder and owner of Wong Way Driving Academy. With over 30 years of driving experience in Hawaii, Steven has been educating future drivers on the island of Oahu for over a decade. His driving school started with humble beginnings with his first class only consisting of handful of high school students, which included his second son, Matthew, and several of his friends. However, the school with a catchy name began to grow as word spread of this humorous driving instructor that made learning how to drive fun and easy. Now, Wong Way Driving Academy services hundreds of high school students from public and private schools on Oahu every year. Additionally, over the past several years, Steven has also leant his expertise to thousands of adult drivers around the island looking to earn their driver’s licenses.  To learn more about Steven and his business go to www.wongwaydriving.com

Matthew Wong, son of Steven Wong, was born and raised on Oahu and is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University. There he studied Psychology during his undergrad and Communications in his masters.  After graduating with his bachelors, he held integral positions of Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions in the Department of Enrollment Management at HPU, while concurrently earning his master’s degree. Nearing the end of his tenure and HPU, Matthew joined in aiding the family business by taking helm of the Wong Way Driving Academy website redesign as part of a class assignment. Today, Matthew is a fellow instructor who also oversees the management of WWDA’s online presence, as well as the development of the new classroom curriculum, set to debut in the Winter 2017 session.
